2008 Dress Code Update
Attention Parents of Middle School Students
Information Regarding Acceptable Outerwear

For purposes of maintaining school safety, long coats extending below mid-thigh, including but not limited to, trench coats, shall not be permitted. In addition, for purposes of maintaining standardized dress, all sweatshirts, jackets, sweaters, and sweater vests must be worn over a standard dress-approved shirt/blouse. Any outerwear garment shall be appropriately sized at the shoulders, sleeves, and length.  Outerwear garments such as jackets, sweaters, sweater vests and sweatshirts with or without hood/hoodie (with or without zipper) are acceptable in any color; however, the hood/hoodie will not be allowed to be worn inside the school building. For secondary students, outerwear garments that do not meet standardized dress color specifications must be removed inside the school building. Outerwear that meets standardized dress color specifications will be allowed anywhere.
